holds advanced degrees in Agriculture, and Ecology. He is a LEAD Fellow. He is an ardent bird-watcher, and state co-ordinator of IBCN. He authored a photographic guide to the butterflies of Goa, and also compiled this catalogue on the birds of Goa for the WWF.
